Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of DuoQR's websites, QR code tools, redirect service, dashboard, billing flows, and related features (the "Service"). The Service is operated by DuoQR, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Summary. Use DuoQR lawfully, keep your account secure, pay for the plan you choose, and do not use QR codes for abuse, fraud, or harmful redirects. The sections below are the binding terms.
1. Who may use DuoQR
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use DuoQR for a company, organization, client, or team, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so or if we previously suspended your account for a material violation.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your login credentials, and activity under your account or workspace. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@duoqr.com.
We may suspend access when we reasonably believe an account, workspace, QR code, or destination creates legal, security, payment, or service-integrity risk.
3. QR codes and customer content
You retain ownership of the destinations, files, logos, contact details, Wi-Fi details, text, designs, and other content you submit to DuoQR ("Customer Content").
You grant DuoQR a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and adapt Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for your Customer Content and for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to use it. This includes personal data, images, logos, files, contact cards, Wi-Fi credentials, app links, review links, and any destination reached through a QR code.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to create, distribute, or operate QR codes, destinations, files, or campaigns that:
- Involve phishing, malware, credential harvesting, scams, deceptive redirects, unauthorized tracking, or attempts to bypass security controls.
- Violate law, infringe intellectual property rights, or invade privacy rights.
- Promote exploitation of minors, non-consensual sexual content, terrorism, targeted harassment, or credible threats of harm.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages or otherwise support spam.
- Interfere with the Service, exceed technical limits, scrape the Service, or reverse engineer it except where law allows.
- Misrepresent that DuoQR endorses, sponsors, or operates your campaign.
We may review, pause, block, remove, or disable QR codes, uploads, destinations, or accounts when we believe they violate these Terms or create risk. We may also cooperate with payment providers, hosting providers, rightsholders, and law enforcement where appropriate.
To report abuse, contact support@duoqr.com.
5. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Paid features are billed through Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. The price, billing period, taxes, trial or introductory terms, and renewal terms presented at checkout are part of these Terms.
Unless a checkout screen says otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through the billing flow made available in the Service or by contacting support@duoqr.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless the billing flow states otherwise.
Refunds are handled case by case unless a specific refund offer is shown at checkout or required by law. If there is a billing error, failed cancellation, duplicate charge, or technical issue, contact us promptly so we can review it.
Stripe and other payment providers may process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. DuoQR does not store full card numbers.
6. Service changes and availability
DuoQR is provided as an online service and may change over time. We may add, remove, limit, or modify features, plans, limits, pricing, destinations, file types, integrations, or infrastructure.
We work to keep redirects and the dashboard reliable, but we do not offer a separate service-level agreement, uptime credit, or guaranteed response time unless one is expressly agreed in writing.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create legal or security risk, or use the Service in a way that could harm DuoQR, other users, scanners, providers, or the public.
After termination or cancellation, dynamic QR codes and hosted content may stop working. Static QR images that you downloaded may continue to scan, but any dynamic destination, hosted file, analytics, or dashboard function depends on the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service may depend on third-party providers, including hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, authentication, payment, security, and infrastructure providers. Third-party services may change, fail, or impose their own terms. DuoQR is not responsible for third-party websites or destinations controlled by you or others.
9. Intellectual property
DuoQR and its software, design, branding, templates, dashboard, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by DuoQR or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any DuoQR intellectual property to you.
You may use generated QR codes and exported assets for your lawful campaigns, subject to these Terms and your plan limits.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every QR scanner, device, camera, browser, network, app store, payment method, third-party destination, or redirect will work in every situation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DuoQR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DuoQR's total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amounts you paid to DuoQR for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court with jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders, such as by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
